Avoin näyttelyhaku LGBTQ+ -taiteilijoille!
KokoTeatteri hakee Pride-tapahtumaviikolle näyttelyehdotuksia. Näyttelyn avajaiset 24.6. ja purku 1.7. Näyttelyjakso ajoittuu siis Helsinki Pride -viikolle, jota vietetään 24.-30.6.2024. Hakuaika päättyy 14.4. ja valitulle taiteilijalle ilmoitetaan seuraavalla viikolla.
Näyttelytila on ilmainen valitulle taiteilijalle. Näyttelystä ei saa taiteilijapalkkiota. Taiteilija on itse vastuussa teosten kuljetuksesta, valmistamisesta sekä niihin liittyvistä maksuista. Näyttelyn pystytyksessä ja purussa on mahdollista saada KokoTeatterin henkilökunnalta apua.
KokoTeatterin galleria- ja näyttelytila sijaitsee teatterin ala-aulassa. Näyttely on osittain ikkunagalleria, mutta teoksia voidaan pystyttää myös tasoille ja seinälle. Näyttely voi olla siis osittain ulkoa ikkunoista katsottavissa. Galleriatilaan on luonnonvalon lisäksi mahdollista säätää myös kohdevalaistusta.
KokoTeatteri tiedottaa ja markkinoi näyttelyä omissa kanavissaan ja ottaa näyttelyn osaksi Pride-tapahtumaviikkoa. Mikäli teokset ovat myynnissä, KokoTeatteri hallinnoi myös teosten myyntiä ja taiteilija saa kaikki teosten tulot lyhentämättömänä.

Open call for LGBTQ+ artists!
KokoTeatteri is seeking exhibition proposals for the Pride event week. The exhibition period is from June 24th to June 30th, 2024. Applicationform is open until 14th of April and we will contact the chosen artist the week after that. It is free for the chosen artist. There is no artist fee provided. All transportation and production of the exhibition must be handled by the artist. Assistance from KokoTeatteri staff is available for setting up and dismantling the exhibition.
KokoTeatteri's gallery space is located in the theater's lobby. The exhibition is partially a window gallery, but artworks can also be displayed on platforms and walls. In addition to natural light, it's possible to adjust spotlighting in the gallery space.
The exhibition is part of the Pride event week and KokoTeatteri will promote the exhibition through its channels. If the artworks are for sale, KokoTeatteri will also manage the sales, and the artist will receive all proceeds from the artworks without deductions.
